Kofi
When The Broom met Kofi, he was a 16 year old young man who dropped out of school. He was walking aimlessly on the streets with no hope of any future. Even though his desire was to become a driver, he had nobody to support him as his parents could not afford to pay the cost the driving school and licence which was equivalent to £60.
The Broom paid for the cost of driving and the licence and gave him monthly food allowance of £7.00. Kofi passed his driving test first time round and is now working as a driver’s mate. The Broom is helping him to find a job as a driver.
