A Safe Haven
We are currently renovating a second hostel for 26 children as demand for a safe place to stay continues to escalate. We plan to rent this hostel until we have the funds necessary to build our own – this will accommodate 50 children.
The hostel becomes home for the children that we look after. They are unable to live with their parents for a host of reasons and come to see us as their family. In some cases, the children have no family other than us to call their own.
£600 pays for the sewing materials needed to train the dress-makers.
£600 will buy beds for the 26 children at the hostel
£1000 pays for a house mother for one year. The house mother looks after the children and young people at the hostel.
£4000 will pay the rent of the hostel for two years.
£5000 will provide all of the equipment needed at the hostel
£52,000 will build our new hostel.

We run dress-making and hairdressing vocational training within the hostel.
